Left for Dead 2 The Passing DLC Review

Hey guys. Just wanted to announce and review the release of the awesome Left for Dead 2 DLC The Passing. I downloaded it and played through it last night. Considering the price of the DLC was only 540 microsoft points, I believe it was a good deal. The Passing was a new campaign between the first campaign and the Dark Carnival campaign. This is a three part campaign filled with fun new places and new things such as the golf club (best melee weapon yet!), the M60 LMG and a new uncommon common (a zombie with a hard hat on that carries around med kits, molotovs, etc). I think it was the best campaign yet in LFD2. Towards the end of the campaign, you meet up with Louis, Zoey and Francis from the first LFD. You don't get to play as them though but they do stand on top of buildings and help shoot the zombies around you as you fill up a generator with fuel.

At the end of the campaign, you find Bill's dead and bloodied carcass. He is holding an M16.


Anyways, this DLC also comes with a new game mode called "mutation". Every thursday, a NEW type of online game mode will be posted under this category kind of like halo's double xp weekend. This week, it is realism versus. The DLC comes with new achievements too.

Overall, it is worth buying for LFD fans.
