News : News: Gran Turismo 5 unleashes GTTV

Today August 1st, Sony and Polyphony Digital will unleash the latest update to Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. The biggest addition to the game will be the full unveiling of Gran Turismo TV, the in-game automotive programming network. Featuring both syndicated and original content, GTTV will offer gamers a host of programs dedicated to nothing but cars and racing.

As a cool introductory deal, all of the pay-per-view content on Gran Turismo TV will be available for the discounted price of $0.99 for the first two weeks, so get 'em while they're hot. The current programming listing for Gran Turismo TV can be found at http://us.playstation.com/granturismo/granturismo_tv.asp, and will be updated as new shows are added.

In addition to GTTV, the update will also include a handful of tweaks, including improved penalty judgments, improved physics during collision between cars during online races, and more tire choices for Time Trials just to name a few.
