Curse Client for Mac has been a long time in the making. With the 3.0 version that came out recently, they finally have a client that appears to run (on Intel/10.5 Macs, anyway), even if it does display a wxWidgets error upon first launch (which can safely be ignored). I've been using it to manage my addons for the past week in order to bring an informed review, so here goes.
The first thing you notice about Curse Client is that it just doesn't look like a Mac app. It's got these weird tabs up top with icons in them, the main icons for initiating events are unfamiliar and un-Mac-like, and it summons odd progress bars that float on top of all your other windows in the lower-right-hand corner (odd progress bar depicted at right).

Ada Wong was reported by Famitsu that she will be returning to the RE series for the ninth time, no surprise there. She will be appearing to the new Wii’s Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, which fits perfectly since she was also in RE: The Umbrella Chronicles. She will also be appearing with Sherry Birkin and the game will be set in the Resident Evil 2 time line.
Note that Ada Wong and Sherry will not be a playable character in the game, but this time around she will be appearing in Claire’s event side too.
Well, now we know Leon, Claire, Ada, and Sherry will be part of the game. Hopefully, Capcom will do something new to the gameplay and the storyline, since Ada never met Claire in the first game.

News : Extensive white mage changes to be rolled out with Final Fantasy XI's April upda
"Play a white mage? You might want to perk your ears up and check out Square-Enix's latest message to the Final Fantasy XI community. It seems that your job is due for a very nice set of upgrades.
The April version update will be adding brand new WHM job abilities and changes to how white magic works in general, including changes to reraise, holy, cure, martyr, banish, and others. All of these changes are based around the WHM's newest two abilities -- Afflatus Solace and Afflatus Misery. Each of these abilities will be set to a 1 minute reuse timer and last for 2 hours, making them easily switchable depending on your situation. Using one will, of course, overwrite the other. Both of these abilities can't be active at once."

The teams at Frogster Interactive and Runewaker Entertainment are hard at work, continuing to develop more content for Runes of Magic, not content to rest after the hard work that went in up to the recent launch. Players wandering into Taborea for the first time are greeted by a world that will remind them of many of their favorite MMOs. By the mid-teens, Runes of Magic will begin to break away and stand on its own feet as an interesting free-to-play title with its own culture. For those of you who have been playing for a while (or just play a lot) you may well be up into the 30's or 40's, looking for new challenges to overcome. Luckily, there's some good news coming for you.
Today, there was an announcement of a new instance being added to Runes of Magic. Called the "Ruins of the Ice Dwarf Kingdom", the new area will offer adventurers all new quest arcs needed to unlock access to explore the ruins atop the Dragonfang Ridge. Meant for players around level 35 to 40, this new dungeon boasts several 'middle-bosses' that you'll have to defeat in order to get to the central part of the labyrinthine complex. Of course, once you've made it there, the fire giant Thynos will be waiting to greet you, set to guard the Font of Power with his life.

News : Why Batman: Arkham Asylum is better than Splinter Cell, Metal Gear and Devil May
How Batman is taking back the mantle from the games that stole his schtick Words: David Houghton
There's a massive irony when it comes to Batman and videogames. The thing is, there's never been an official game that truly captures the essence of what the character is about, but unofficially, our digital fun-boxes have been providing fantastic almost-Batman games for years.
The elements which make Bats great have long been staples of certain other series. Predatory stealth, intelligent tactical planning, slick and brutal melee violence... There are more than a couple of big franchises which have made them their trademarks for years. But with Arkham Asylum, it looks like Batman is finally taking back what was his all along. We've played it. We loved it. Here's why it makes the pretenders to the bat-throne look like exactly that.
Of the videogame stealth kings, Splinter Cell's Sam is by far the most professionally kitted-out. Snake might have stealth camo, a sizable selection of guns, and a mini robot buddy, but for realistic, multi-purpose infiltration, Sam's array of lockpicks, optic cables, night vision and microwave pulses wins every time. Batman however, has the competition nailed, both in functionality and the all-important cool factor.
During the two sections of the game we got to play (both taken from vastly contrasting examples of the game's many unlockable challenge rooms) we got to use five pieces of kit, and although they will be upgraded and added to as the main game progresses they were more than enough to make a massively satisfying stealth experience in themselves.
